A beginning!

Hello my humble followers.. If there ever are any! I have decided, following in the footsteps of my wise Cousin, to start blogging again.. Alas, it has been many eras since I have used livejournal, so I must say that I am rather out of practice!

But Anywhoo!

My name, if you don't already know me, is Lauren! I am 21 years old, born and raised in the good ol' sunshine state! I am the product of the Florida public school system, so don't expect much on the front of grammar and spelling! I can honestly say that the bush administrations ' No child left behind ' act didn't work, I certainly wasn't pushed forward anyways! But, I must say I feel I am doing rather well for myself! As I said, I am 21, and originally from Florida, although I now(since Aug '07) reside in the beautiful county of West Yorkshire, in North West England! I live here with my Husband, Paul, (married dec '06) and we are very impatiently awaiting the birth of our first child! A little baby girl according to the scans anyways! =D She is due Tuesday, June 15th! We absolutely can not wait! Before moving to England I hadn't the foggiest idea about gambling.. Now I am certainly getting to the pro levels.. The whole thing is to understand that you are not going to win. Go to have fun! If you walk into the bookies, or a casino, expecting, or NEEDING to win, YOU WILL LOSE! If you go, expecting to lose, you still probably will! but you wont feel as bad afterwards! =P Anywhoo!
